This is a fantastic business. These drivers are courteous and on time every day. However, for the day of our wedding, our driver went above and beyond the call of duty. As I mentioned, there was a hurricane the day of our wedding, and so he helped each person individually to the limo with a huge umbrella despite horizontal rain and high winds. Then to get the bride in - whose train was twice as long as she is tall - he helped her with her dress, kept her laughing despite the crazy weather, and was just an all around great person to have that day. I will hear his voice telling me to watch out for the puddles - which were everywhere - so that I wouldn't step in them or get my dress dirty. Everything we needed or asked for he did, and that was especially challenging considering the weather. I am sure that part of his behavior was from his professional attitude of his job, but truthfully I think much of it is his great personality.
This was by far the best band or d.j. I have ever experienced. NOT ONE PERSON didn't dance at our wedding. They had all 170+ of us on the dance floor. They were recommended by a friend and were in every way money well spent.
Without a doubt, this place was a dream come true. Ever since I was a little girl, I wished that I could get married here, and we did. In fact, my husband proposed to me here about 2 years before we got married. The staff treated us like we were royalty, and everything was perfect....really, it was.
These were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. The Rams Head recommended this florist because their flowers are known to last well throughout the big day, and Eileen and Gerry are a dream to work with. Eileen followed all of our suggestions, mimicked pictures I found from the internet, and achieved the vibe I was going for. Further, closer to the wedding, she offered suggestions that actually saved us money. Gerry came over to decorate my parents' home for the Day After Brunch that they were having, and the flowers were just the right mood and full of bright, happy colors.
Not only did the bride get her gown here, so too did the bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and one of the grandmothers of the bride. What's more, Tina (the owner) wrote the bride 3 separate thank you notes because she purchased her gown there. She found the perfect dress there - just what she wanted.
Karen and Mary were positively fantastic. In fact, Karen entered two of our engagement prints in a competition and won!! Karen and Mary were troopers. There was a hurricane the day of our wedding, and they worked with us inside and kept our spirits up the whole day. Plus Karen made a last-minute stop to the home of my very ill grandfather so that he could see his first grandchild to be married on our special day. That means more to me than anything else I can think of. Then, Karen kindly kept her head during the craziness of getting all the family pictures. Then, all of a sudden, it was as if she and Mary disappeared. I forgot they were there! They really captured our wedding: us, our families, all of our guests, and all of the fun we had.
Ida and Patty work together for hair and makeup and come to your home the day of your wedding. Ida is from Esthetica, and you can call there to book her. Seriously, this was the best decision we made. The morning of our wedding was as relaxing as possible, and these ladies did the bridal family's hair and makeup. Plus, when the other members of the bridal party came, they were happy to touch them up or fix what they didn't like about their own looks (done by others locally). If you are looking for a relaxing morning to be spent with family, these ladies are who you need.
