Six Degrees of Celebration

So we rented our napkins and tablecloths threw them with a company called BBJ linens = www.bbjlinen.com/ This was great, was able to use the online planning tool, colors were what we wanted and got all that we asked for. However, 6 Degrees also had some of their own rental items like the "sound system" A warning to Brides - Don't do it! We picked it up and put down a deposit, and the manager on staff said "Don't take this out of this packing bin or you will loose your deposit." I agreed and went on our way. The day of the wedding, My Dad is setting it up and finds that only ONE set of speakers is working, he called me and said he had to pull the equipment out in order to see what was wrong. Having no other choice than to have 1/2 a working stereo or loose my deposit I told him to do what he could to fix it. My dad is a Senior Electrical Engineer and inventor so it's not like he didn't know what he was doing. Turns out that the company rented us faulty equipment in NON working order. The wires had shorted out and my dad on my WEDDING DAY had to run to the store and Re-wire them!!! Then he called 6 Degrees. Not only were they hesitant to refund the deposit, but they also claimed that it was in perfectly working order when they rented it to use and that we were responsible for it. All in all I did get the deposit back, but it was such and inconvenience.

A little pricey, but the food was delicious, had a full staff for serving and clearing, punch fountain, cut our wedding cake, and served the champagne. They really added some cute "wedding day" touches for us. Very friendly and top box service. I didn't have my cake made by them, but they make great cakes too!
