Catherine Polinard was the event coordinator at this venue. They did all the decorating, food, beverage,lighting, and planning for my wedding. They were great! I didn't have to worry about time or decorations. I just told her what I wanted and she totally did it for me. The food was awesome, I am still getting compliments on the food and we have been married for a month now. Honestly you don't need a lot of decor at the Gas Light. It has a wonderful old Italy feel to it. It's gorgeous by itself! We had both the ceremony and the reception at the Gas Light!
This vendor came through in the end. They did beautiful flowers for the ceremony but when I first saw the flowers the day before I was very disappointed with them. The colors were all wrong. I had to show him the pictures of the flowers that I wanted all over again. I thought this is why you do appointments before hand. The worst part was that he already had the pictures in his file for my wedding. All he had to do was look in the file instead of guessing what I wanted! It was a little frustrating and worrisome. And I know that that is the last thing you need when planning your wedding! He was "alright!"
This vendor was awesome! She does wonderful cakes. She new exactly what I wanted. It didn't only look great it tasted wonderful. She did my husbands cake also. She made a bunch of western gun pieces to go on the cake. Our guest thought the chocolate gun pieces were real, but they were chocolate! She was great!
