We LOVED his style. Eric was so easy to work with. Eric so generously did our engagement session in Calgary even though he is based in Canmore. I definitely recommend him. He is passionate and artistic about his photos. He took time to get to know us and really strived to capture what was important to us.
Jenelle was phenominal to work with. She worked hard to really personalize our invitations and make them unique. She was able to work within our tight budget as well as offering many suggestions to trim some costs without losing the feeling we were trying to create. She is based in Edmonton but the distance did not hinder our communication at all. We would communicate via email and even set up a few phone appointments when needed. This was a pretty good site. We did need to pay $69 but it was worth it. As guests purchase items for your honeymoon, they are several payment options. They can pay by credit card, your paypal account, or choose to bring $$ to the wedding. We did not like their standard greeting when guests purchased a gift so we were able to personalize it. Many other honeymoon sites we looked at collected the $$ and then sent a check. So, you may not get it before your honeymoon. Also, we noticed that some advertised that it was a "free" site to set up, the fine print showed that they took a percentage of every gift you received. It just seemed to sneaky to us. We like that Buy Our Honeymoon was upfront about their fee. We also liked that we were able to put a link on our website so guests never needed to type in Buy Our Honeymoon.
Connie was an absolute joy to work with. She offered great ideas and had numerous contacts throughout Canmore/Banff. We worked with her for 6 months planning our wedding and was able to accommodate our tight budget. We had to keep track of our budget so just know that going into it. At the end of the day, I felt that she really cared about me and the vision we were wanted to create.
These ladies were absolutely lovely to work with. They were able to order what I needed (gardenias) when the Canmore/Banff florists could not. They were a little less expensive than the other florists I found. My only issue was that the wrist bands for the corsages were the wrong color (from the distributor) and my bouquet of burgundy calla lillies were not the burgundy color that I requested. They did what they could and when they arrived red from the distributor, they attempted to tint them. I wish I had told them in our meeting that if anything is different than what I ordered, to contact me first. That would have lessened my disappointed the night before the wedding.
