We did our hair, nails and makeup at The Parisian Spa. I wanted one location that could do all services. I had contacted them about three months in advance to set everything up. At the last minute changes and they were more than accommodating. There were six of us that were getting glamorous. Since the Spa isn’t huge, we basically took over the whole place. The spa is very open so we could all watch and talk as we got hair or nails done. I think maybe two or three people that were not with our group came in during the time we were there. Everybody looked great when we left and we felt like princesses.
We wanted to have live music at our ceremony. After a little research I was able to find Megan. We told her that we were hoping to have violin and piano for our ceremony. We spoke for about half-an-hour about what music we thought we would like. They did a really nice job.
Kari did a great job. I'm not really a "flower" person. I had found a few photos online that I liked. I sat down with Kari, showed her the pictures, and talked about colors and what we needed. She did an amazing job. I was blown away with how beautiful the flowers were and how elegant the arrangements were.
We did a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise. Every location was great. It was nice to not have to unpack and repack every night. We also made some great friends.
These folks were very easy to work with! I had spoken with a few other places, and I kept getting "no we cannot do that." When I went to Happy Eatery they said they could do everything I wanted. AND THEY DID! They make their cakes fresh the day of the event (never frozen). Everybody said how good it was. Don't worry about having to freeze the top layer because when your one-year comes around they will make you a small cake! The delivered the cake for a small charge – from Centerville to Fredericksburg. I would recommend Happy Eatery to everybody!
She does great work! Every picture is wonderful. Erin was able to post the first few pictures about three days after the event and we had all the proofs in about three weeks. She only does about one wedding a month. Know that is you are lucky enough to get her as your photographer you will love looking back and remembering!
