Dj Joe Roxks is on the high price end for the Valley. However, he is very accommodating, and know what he is doing. He arrived at the reception place a little late for set up, but he was ready by the time the reception started. We rented his wireless microphone, but there was a lot of interference, so it was difficult to hear the speeches. Once the music began, everybody had a great time and danced the night away.
She came to set up the cake and left. After she left I realized that the cake was lopsided. There was nothing I could do then. She didn't place the cake topper on top of the cake, so I had to do it myself. By the time the reception came along, the cake was even more lopsided. People even came up to me at the reception warning me that the cake looked like it was going to fall over. Nonetheless, the cake was actually very good and everybody liked it.
This caterer has good prices and good tasting food. However, I thought that he was somewhat unprofessional. He kept messing up our contract and forgetting what he had promised us. He also agreed to pass out the cake, but only 3 tables got cake. They didn't even gives us (bride and groom) cake!!! Everybody complained about the waiter service. Apparently one waiter was super rude to everybody. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service we got.
We had to pay a fee for them to travel from Brownsville to Weslaco. Everybody liked the chocolate fountain, but it finished so quickly. People definitely went back for seconds and thirds.
This photographer is from Laredo, but he has family in Weslaco so he didn't charge us travel. We got the package with unlimited hours. I told him when to get there, and he left after we left. We haven't gotten our pictures or video yet. It's been 1 month since the wedding, so I'm eager to get my stuff.
