Nice selection of moderate to expensive bridesmaid dresses. We used both Jasmine B2 and Watters WToo brands. Service is inconsistent.
Smaller bridal boutique, but lots of inexpensive to moderately priced bridal and bridesmaid dresses. Most range from $500-$1500. Great alterations from Zoreh. She customized my gown, extended the sash, and removed the satin train from underneath the lace. I knew exactly what I wanted in a dress: lace with a pink sash. Darling Brides had the dress and great service.
Katie really captured the fun, sweet and sentimental moments of our wedding day. She shot our engagement shoot and wedding day and we couldn't have been happier with her services. She was very flexible, fun, and creative. Her prices are reasonable compared with other wedding photographers and her personality and style were a great fit for us. If you want to create a unique package, she's very easy to work with. Very highly recommended. And we love our Zookbinders album she designed for us.
We wanted to write our own ceremony and Lorna let us take control. She helped give us ideas and direction and was a very friendly, supportive part of our planning and wedding day. Highly recommended.
Loved this florist. Communication was a little rough and we played phone tag a lot, but we knew the arrangements would be beautiful since we've used them for family funerals. The bouquets were a great price and were exactly what I wanted. DeeDee helped me design the bouquets and came up with whimsical, rustic arrangements. She even tied the bouquets with extra fabric from my dress for a special touch.
We booked last minute, and still ended up with a great DJ. Jimmy T kept the dance floor packed all night and played a great variety of music. A little pricey but worth it. A DJ can make or break the energy at your event and MikeStaff had a great reputation. That's why we went with them, and after using them, we highly recommend them as well. Our biggest complaint was not getting to meet the DJ beforehand and relying on a short minute-long video to help us get a feel for our DJ options.
Lisa at Buttercream Bakeshop was a lot of fun to work with and helped our design come to life in a delicious 4-flavored cake. The cake looked like something out of Alice in Wonderland and tasted fantastic. The complimentary 4-course tasting is what really sold us.
Judy from Angel Food is the catering company's greatest selling point. She helped us cut corners, gave us new ideas, and knew the ropes at Cobblestone. She was very friendly, easy-to-work with, and went out of her way to make us feel like her #1 customers. On the day of, everything went wonderfully, the food was great, and our guests raved about how friendly and helpful our caterers were. I highly recommend them.
Cobblestone can be done on any budget. It's about $1,000 to rent, more or less depending if you're a Washtenaw resident. The rental fee covers 10 hours of rental time, use of the grounds, and rental of tables and chairs inside the barn. They also have a room for the bride to get ready in. You do have to bring in your own caterer, but Angel Food Catering works with Cobblestone a lot and knows how to make things work at such a unique venue. The place has a lot of charm and everything went smoothly.
