I bought my jewelry and bird cage veil from these ladies.....it is the cutest place in Addison! Everyone was so helpful - and if I had known about their store earlier....I would have bought my dress here too if I would have found it sooner! They have a great vibe going - and all their dresses are $800 or less! This is a must see on the dress hunt!
After finding the perfect $4000 dress......I came back to reality and searched for a less expensive dress that was very similar. I found my dress at Bridal Co. in Denton....
Final result - $400 - and the less expensive material was way cooler and lighter!!
Terry was WONDERFUL!!! He was the perfect DJ. He sat down with us, went over songs and genres.....and just played the perfect mix. Everyone was dancing - and he was very professional, kept the wedding flowing without any hiccups. We've had SO many people from the wedding ask for his number...they all loved him! And he was even booked for another event from our wedding!
Dean is the person to work with! He made sure that everyone was on schedule, the food was ready right on time, the buffet lines went quickly, (they even carried our plates for us!), (and the food was AMAZING) he worked with our other vendors to make sure everyone had everything. DCC was outstanding! We had the perfect spot to hang out and get ready - in the women's locker room - complete with couches, tables, large area to have hair and makeup done for several people...it was very relaxing......and the boys had their own place to get ready there too! You should put this place on your map to check out!
Margaret is an amazing photographer and artist! We met and interviewed a few photographers....Margaret was the first and she set the bar so high! It didn't take her long to see the vision that we had for our wedding and what kind of photography we were looking for. She has been SO great to work with - and we have an abundance of amazing photographs to choose from! She was the first person we booked for our wedding - and she really helped walk us through different ideas...she was such a pleasure to work with!
You have to put Candy Haven on your list of places to try cake! We had an hour visit, tried nearly 10 pieces of cake, multiple different frostings and fillings! I had a picture from a magazine...they were able to recreate it - only with a better design than my original idea! I'm a huge wedding cake fan - and I wanted to make sure we had a moist, supple cake, with no fondant! Candy Haven delivered the cake and took care of everything - they worked with our florist - to get the flowers the day before the wedding. Excellent service!
I had visited several florists before I found flowergarden. I stopped because I really liked how simple their logo was! I set up a time to meet with the owner...... we met for about an hour - and she was GREAT! Finally - someone else who could see my vision and suggest flowers that would work! (rather than the others saying - I don't know if we could do exactly this or that - or not knowing which flowers would work together best!) My bridesmaids were wearing all black....and I wanted all green flowers....and a layered cala-lilly bouquet for me. flowergarden did such a great job! They were on time, easy to work with, flexible, and just were perfect!
