Rich and Alyssa Mattingly of Nickel City Studios are AMAZING! You can't get any better than them. We did an engagement shoot with them a year before the wedding when we were in town so we could get comfortable in the camera. They are great with any personality, upbeat and happy to be a part of your day, and extremely talented. Thanks to them we'll have a play by play to look back at forever!
Don't get me wrong, flowers were great, but the service could be more. It wasn't very reassuring to have to continue to explain what it was I wanted each time I talked to them on the phone. I could have used more help finding unique flowers, but the suggestions I received were mostly the same-old roses, etc. When I asked for gardenias for bouts and corsages, they told me they would be too big for the bouts, but I insisted. They ended up being fantastic. Glad I went with my gut. So like I said, the end result was great if you know what you want, but service and creativity was lacking.
You will not find better tasting cake in WNY. It is SO worth every cent. Highly recommend the Neapolitan flavor.
Very easy to communicate and plan with our DJ even though we were out of town. They had an online worksheet we could fill out with all our info, we had an in-depth convo with them before hiring (over an hour on the phone) and met with our DJ before the wedding when we came into town. We didn't really have dancers for guests, but I'm sure they would have been dancing if they were the type. We had DJ Sean, specifically, who was great. He wasn't corny and didn't "over-do" it at all.
