I only wish you could give negative stars. This bar came highly recommended by MSU, but they failed miserably at being even adequate. They brought no wine to sell once the hosted wine was all gone, they brought only TWO bottled beer varieties to sell once the hosted kegs were drained. And with no lines later in the evening, they poured the rest of the keg beer into pitchers where it could become warm while it waited for guests.
Add to this that several of our female guests said that the bartender's creepy stares kept them away from the bar, and you have the makings of a wedding disaster.
All we wanted was the service they promised to run seamlessly. It did not, and of all the vendors we used, they were far and away the worst.
We brought these guys in from Duluth because they were so good. Jeff ran the show and made the wedding run with precision. If I could only have one of my vendors for my next wedding, it would be Jeff and Red Rock.
We rented a bunch of stuff through G&K and they were cost effective and perfect for what we needed. They were the only people in Mankato with lounge furniture to rent, and we loved it. HIGHLY recommended.
Daubes makes amazing cakes. Living in Rochester, we came to appreciate their baking skill, and their cakes are amazing. We were given more cake than we had need, which resulted in a lot of left overs, but with cake this good, it is a wonderful problem to have.
Again, ranged out of the Mankato area to get the best of the best photographers. Bob Smith is a legend, and his pictures totally captured our day. We were very impressed with the pictures he took, and can't wait to see our album.
