Courtney was fantastic. She was on top of everything and so fun to work with. She went above and beyond on our wedding day to get a couple of cupcakes and birthday candles for our flower girls too. She was just amazing. The place was beautiful and the wait staff was so good. Our bartender was fun and even had people chatting with him. The entire event was a hit from start to finish and I would highly recommend getting married here.
Highly recommend this DJ. They were easy to deal with and really helpful during the planning process. The online tool really helped me with setting up the music we wanted to hear. Our DJ Brad was really fun and laid back. He had the dance floor packed which, in a small wedding, is no easy feat. One of the most fun weddings I've been to and it was in large part to the music Brad selected.
We had our "groom's dinner" here and we had a pig roast the day after the wedding. It was so much fun despite the rain. We went on a hike with a guide, which was wet and fun for everyone. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend Larsmont for lodging or a groom's dinner or post-wedding "mini-moon". If you're having a really small and intimate wedding I'd even recommend it for your ceremony and reception. The staff are fantastic and the food is out of this world.
Erin, one of the owners, is the only one who does wedding hair. She's great though. The rate was similar to what you might pay in the Twin Cities, but to me it was worth it. I loved the outcome.
I'm giving Kristi a 3 right now because we haven't seen any pictures yet, but for the day of she was fantastic. Hardly knew she was there for most of it and during portraits she was the ultimate professional. She was efficient, creative, and in charge without being rude or taking away from the fun of the day. It was a wonderful experience. Hopefully the pictures won't disappoint, but somehow I doubt they will.
The decorations and my flowers were beautiful. Carrie was flexible and responsive and very creative. She also put our favors on the table for us, which is above and beyond her role. She was wonderful to work with. The only "issue" we had was a miscommunication about table runners. We all thought we heard her say she had them, but she thought we were bringing them. Ultimately I did not care and we weren't charged for them, but if there's something you really want to have just make sure to spell out exactly who will be bringing them and get that in writing.
