From the time I tried on dresses, to the time I picked mine up, they were wonderful. They had no problem holding on to my dress from November up to my wedding date in August. I had alterations done in-store and they took less than two weeks.
Catherine was great throughout the enitre process. I enjoyed being able to personalize every aspect of my invitations, from the designs, to the fonts and colours. She did a great job of making every single one by hand, so I definitely commend her for that one because I couldn't have done it myself. Our guests loved them and we've been told that they even saved it because they were so nice!
We had nothing but good service from Moore's. Our bridal party was very geographically spread out and they were able to make arrangements in their own cities to get their tuxes. My father-in-law was able to order in Edmonton and pick it up here in Toronto. Everything fit well and the men looked great. Even our 2 year old ring bearer looked wonderful!
I ordered Berry Blue Jelly Belly jelly beans and small bags from Karen. They were delivered pretty quickly and she even included a handwritten note of congrats inside the box. That was sweet and I'd definitely do business with her again.
Jenny was great from the first appointment. She made lots of suggestions and I was free to make many of my own.
Since I lived close by, she let me save on delivery charges and I picked up the bouquets and flowers for my centrepieces the morning of the wedding. I thought that was really nice of her, so I would definitely recommend her. Her work is gorgeous and we received many compliments about the bright colours and the freshness of the flowers.
Lisa definitely gets 5 stars in my book! She is the best DJ I have ever met and is so sweet. She responded to any concerns very efficiently and took all of our suggestions. We left a lot up to her and she did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor. She even took some photos for us and sent them all to us after the wedding.
I won an auction for a $500 gift certificate for $300 for Irresistable Cakes and thought it was the deal of a lifetime.
Getting a hold of someone was very tough and my now husband finally did and made an appointment. When we showed up, the store was closed. The person making the appointment obviously had no idea that they were closing shop for a few days around the Christmas holidays.
When we finally managed to get in for an appointment, everything went well. The tasting was great and everyone was really nice. My only complaint was that they wanted you to choose from already made designs with no room to choose anything but the colours you wanted it in.
I specifically asked at my appointment if the cakes were frozen beforehand and was told no.
When my husband and I arrived at the reception, we went to take a look at our cake and noticed that there were several unusual bulges on the sides and especially the top of the cake. We had to turn the cake around so that no one would catch photos of it because it was really bad. Our photographer took one photo of it before we got there and all you can see is the huge bulge on the top tier.
I was told by a guest of mine who bake regularly that the cake must have been frozen beforehand and that it was bulging due to it defrosting. The actual cake itself tasted good and we had no problem with that, but it would have been nice to have a great looking cake too.
We gave the company a call after we returned from our honeymoon and received no reply whatsoever. They would not be my first recomendation at all.
