If you're having an chinese banquet....this guy's for you. Ivan was our MC and brought his DJ, he also set us up with lighting and our slide show projector. We got in touch with him about 6-9 months before the wedding and he laughed because we were so early....we reserved the date and finally met him 3-4 months before the wedding. He helped establish a timeline, had ideas for how do do our entrances, dress changes and had suggestions for either pg-13 or R rated games. He used our music when requested and provided something appropriate when we had not chosen a song. He really helped move the night along (we finished toasting all our tables and taking pictures in record speed!), kept things fun, light and there was never a dull moment.
Brian is awesome! We found Bryan from a blog of a wedding he had shot and loved his work. He's a photographer for the LA Times and is probably the most easy going, relaxed person you'll meet. When we met with Bryan, we felt at easy and like we had known him for a long time and his photos were just what we were looking for. The day of the wedding, Bryan jumped right into our crowded, chaotic chinese tea ceremonies and then followed us up to Pacific Palms where he found us the coolest (it was a >100 degree so cal weekend)spots to take some pics before the ceremony and reception. Bryan was everything we wanted in a photographer and more....he went out of his way to sneak us off to take some gorgeous sunset pictures too!
