Easy to work with, emailed me napkin and linen color samples, gave me a coupon to use and easy to reach. Highly recommend them! They showed up on time my order was right!
We used Rhythm Trail from Orlando FL and asked for a single steel drum musician for our ceremony and for a couple hours during our reception. The musician we thought we were getting did not show because he was sick (we saw pics online of our musician) but they sent another musician in his place without confirming or notifying us first. We found out it wasn't the person booked as we arrived at the ceremony site. We were very surprised! The musician was still very talented and super friendly but messed up while my bridesmaids walked down the aisle (no music played) and played the wrong song for me. He played for 2 hours at the reception and did a great job there. If you use Rhythm Trail, make sure you familiarize your musician with the music selection you want during the ceremony and they guarantee you don't get another musician that is unfamiliar with your order.
Overall I was happy with Tropical Breeze Resort. They were very accomodating to my guests that stayed there. We booked at least 20 rooms and had our reception out side at the Pool House. Our guests arrived a couple days before our wedding and the resort was still doing construction on the tiki huts at the pool house. I was very nervous they would not be finished in time for me to start setting up for the wedding. I got married at Beach access 2 so having all my guests walk to the ceremony site and back to the reception worked out perfectly and they could stop by their rooms if they wanted to. The resort was going through a management change while we were there and if I were to have our event a few weeks or months after I did, I have a feeling the maintenance and construction would have been completed 100%. Overall the staff at the resort were very helpful and accommodating to our guests and we loved having our own pool to play in everyday.
If I could rate this vendor six stars, I would. Tom from Village Cafe went above and beyond for me and did more than provide food and staff for my reception. He offered his restaurant to me in case there was a hurricane, he volunteered to be available with his van to transport, set up and tear down my chairs from the ceremony site to the reception site. The food was fabulous and his staff did what ever it took to get the job don.
I met with the owner once and a few weeks later changed my mind on my flowers and she was accommodating. They had to build my canopy to fit the beach space since they didn't have one that would work. The flowers were vibrant, fresh and beautiful and the bamboo canopy was elegant and simple. They are certainly the professionals to go to and are local to the Key! I also rented hurricane vases with candles for my centerpieces and added stuff to them myself. They dropped them off and picked them up and were flexible to work with.
I asked myself what is my favorite restaurant to go to on Siesta Key? The Blase Cafe is! I did all the coordinating over the phone with the owner and her ex husband. They were not very good at communicating and hard to get a hold of. She would promise quotes to me and not deliver until after I called two or three times and left messages. I was guaranteed to use their space the night of my rehearsal dinner but couldn't see the space ahead of time and was a little disappointed with the space and the fact that they had NO AIR! It was very hot that night! The tables were in one corner of the restaurant and it was loud and not very private. The chef is the ex husband of the owner and was a little hard to work with. Overall, the food was delicious and everything worked out to be fine. This vendor was one to stay on top of though.
Fabulous, affordable and easy to work with. Highly recommended and professional.
