Jim was top notch- I selected all the music. What songs he didn't have- he got. He is really easy going and great to work with (he also does karaoke but we didn't have that at the wedding.) He is very reasonably priced.
The venue at which we held our reception (Glasgow Square)did not have a kitchen. The caterers managed with a makeshift kitchen comprised of rented barbq's and lobster pots. The dinner was first class and we have received extremely positive feedback from our friends and family regarding the beautiful 5 course meal. (Apps, soup, salad, main course and dessert). They also made our wedding cake and the "mini cakes" that we used as the centre pieces at our guest tables- delicious and beautifully decorated. In addition, they decorated the hall and assisted with planning every aspect of the reception- including finding a bag piper for us. As if that wasn't enough, they catered our rehearsal party and made the groom's cake- 2 days before the wedding. They are a very talented and professional couple, I would recommend them to cater any event! Their staff were extremely personable and catered to every whim.
Very professional- John is a real perfectionist and it shows in his final product. I was extremely pleased with the album he produced of our wedding.
Since our reception venue did not have a kitchen or any dinner ware at all, we had to rent EVERYTHING!!! We also held our ceremony outside and had to rent chairs nad decorations for that. Final touch assisted greatly with this. They have vast experience renting equipment for all occasions and were very helpful in planning and booking the rentals for our event. The equipment (dinnerware, bbq's, lobster pots, decorations, linens, glasses) that we rented from them was clean and high quality.
Our wedding flowers were absolutely gorgeous. Not a detail was missed. The staff at McKean's were very patient and held several consultations with me throughout the planning stage of the wedding. The flowers were very fresh and exactly what I wanted.
This quartet played during the ceremony and at the reception. Their music was great and they were very professional. They were also quite affordable and accomodating.
