Striped Bass

Went to Stripd bass for our rehersal dinner. It's not a 'ritzy' restaurant, but a fun environment. We tested the place out a few times before our July wedding and the food and service was great. The night of our rehearsal dinner was the complete opposite. Our first round of drinks did not come until 45 minutes into the dinner, the food was cold when they brought it out, they did not bring out nearly enough for a party of only about 35, and the service was non-existant. The manager said that it was becuase they were very busy that night. My response was 'I don't care - we paid almost $4k upfront for this party so we should be your priority". The food was also not even close to the quality it was on other nights. We were utterly dissapointed. I'd recommend this place for a night out, but NEVER for a party of more than 4.
