Le Bouquet Blanc

I dealt with this vendor for my wedding invitations. At first, she seems very nice and trying to be helpful. Unfortunately, she ended up being my worse experience when it came to my wedding planning. We went to see her at her home and she provided us with a good choice of invitations. We chose the model we wanted and paid the full amount of 395$ for 100 invitations the same evening. The package was a 3-in-one invitation set and also included main and return white envelops. When we returned home, the vendor called us to inform us that she made a mistake and that the main envelops were not included. That really bugged me. The next morning, I wrote her an email asking to cancel my order since I really wanted the envelops and didn’t like the surprise that came with all that. She was going on vacation that same morning, so I didn’t hear from her until she got back a week later, which is ok, she told us she was leaving. When she returned to me, she basically told me that we cannot proceed to a cancellation and that if I wanted to cancel, she will charge me 85$ for the time she spent with us choosing the invitation model. When I told her it was outrageous and that no vendor can charge for their time without letting us know before the purchase. When I was shopping my wedding dress and ended up not liking any, no vendor ever charged me a penny! I was really unhappy about the situation and tried to negotiate with her a lower her cancellation fee because I felt she was not open to a full refund and I didn’t feel like going through legal procedures the year of my wedding. So we settled for 50$ cancelation fee… She ended up sending us a check for 340$, which was 5$ lower than what we agreed on. At this point, she really showed me that she acts in bad faith and I hope that no one else gets caught into that situation while planning their wedding. I ended up ordering my invitation with an online vendor for half the price and envelops matching my invitations colors. Just wish we had never dealt with that vendor in the first place.

We ended up ordering little boxes from Le Bouquet Blanc and working ourselves on placing Lindt chocolates and pink satin ribbons on our boxes for each guest. Also, we shopped around for a special thank you gift for each guest - we bought crystal dessert dishes made in Germany and did the gift wrapping ourselves. Turned out really well and people loved receiving something beautiful that they could use.
