I had booked Chris Mathers from Absolute Entertainment after being referred to him by a friend. Speaking with him on Facebook he was pleasant and helpful. However, when I came to Erie to meet with him I was surprised at his unprofessional demeanor. He also did not acknowledge songs that I really wanted to have played after stating a few times that those were the songs I wanted. Worst of all, upon arriving at the reception I come to find that he sent ANOTHER DJ because he had "another commintment". He had called me that day to tell me, but I didn't have any pockets in my wedding dress to carry my phone.

Absolutely awesome DJ. JP was excellent, very responsive and able to help guide us in our selections and made our very short reception run very smoothly.

We had a great time! They played all of the music we requested and people enjoyed dancing.

Ask for John Paul Berry! Dance floor was packed all night - job well done!

I recently had my wedding deejayed by Absolute Entertainment. After hearing good reviews from our reception coordinator, I met with Ken Rochon and decided to go book them. My DJ was NICK VASILOU. We planned to meet with Nick a couple of month before the wedding. We live in PA, so it's sort of hard to meet with someone down in Baltimore, but we drove the distance to meet with Nick. When the time of our appointment rolled around, Nick did not show. We tried calling, but did not get a response. After waiting a half hour we tried calling again, Nick picked up and told us that he completely forgot about our meeting. Let's move onto our wedding. Bridal Party Introductions - Nick introduced the entire bridal party and was getting ready to annouce us (the bride and groom) when Nick completely forgot our names. So it went something like..I would like to introduce for the first time..Mr. & Mrs. (Nick scrambles through his notes for about 20 seconds, then a groomsman walks over to Nick and tells him the correct name) We are then introduced and stay on the dance floor for our first dance (Also I must mention that Nick forgot to introduce the flower girls) He then calls us to the center of the dance floor and preceeds to call me the WRONG NAME! He says.."I would like to invite Christina and Kevin to the dance floor" My name is Crystal..not Christina. This was followed by loud gasps from our guests, and Nick stuttering to get my name right. Overall, a horrible embarrasing experience. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DJ

Sound for the ceremony was not great but the DJ was awesome and really got the party going!

We paid a little extra for Jayson, but he was awesome and spent over 2 hours each time we met to go over every detail and song played. We also got a CD of all the music from the wedding!
