Crowne Plaza Hotel - Englewood

Do not use this hotel to accomodate your guests. Staff appears friendly and gave me a reasonable price for my wedding block. However, every guest that attempted to make a reservation for our wedding was either told that all of the rooms were booked already, that there is no such wedding block, or given the run around until they finally gave in and paid full price for the rooms instead of the discounted price. I got so many phone calls from friends and family about this. I called the hotel so many times and they kept trying to smooth things over but were obviously lying to me. In addition, My husband and I booked the only suite they have in the hotel. I was guaranteed 12 pm check in so that I could get ready in the suite. I arrived late around 2 pm the day of the wedding and still had to wait for the room to be available. All of the guests from my wedding block were staying on all different floors that were no where near each other. And they all paid a different price for their room. One guest was told that she was getting a suite with 2 separate bedrooms at an extra price, and all the hotel did was add a cot to a regular 1-bedroom hotel room and called it a "suite." I would never stay in another Crowne Plaza hotel again.
