Straton Hall

This vendor did a beautiful job of our bridesmaid’s lunchon. However, I had many problems with the staff. The person that was responsible for my wedding accused me of trying to under pay. She never sent me an invoice so I took the price per head, added the bartender and tax and sent her a check. She called me accusing me that “ I can’t just decide what to pay for my reception” I said “well the payment was due two weeks before and you never sent me an invoice so I was trying to do the right thing and send timely payment.” They finally sent me an invoice at tacked on a $300 tent rental fee that was never discussed or put in writing for me prior to the invoice. The food for our reception was overpriced and tasteless. The wedding cake looked thrown together and the fondant ribbons around the base of the tears of the cake were not connected and the color of the ribbon was a hot pink instead of a fuchsia like I had requested. There were six guests that did not attend. When my parents went to collect the leftover food the staff had eaten all of it (about $216 of food) The bartender got drunk with my guests. I would NOT recommend Straton Hall for your wedding.

Excellent, the only complaint I have is that several days went before e-mails were answered, but as for the actual day I couldn't fault them. Food and displays were fantastic, they even decorated more tables than we were expecting. would certainly recomend. well worth the money spent.
