Sew Special

I went to this vendor after reading some reviews that were mixed, but I figured since I didn't need any complicated alterations on my wedding dress, I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg at some bridal boutique store. The service was friendly and the price was a little more than what I thought the alterations were worth, but if they did a decent job, I felt like it was worth it. Well, on my wedding day just after dinner at the reception, my bustle didn't hold up because the weight of the dress was too much for the one loop they sewed on. Also, they said they would steam press my dress, but when I picked up my dress, it looked exactly the same as when I had dropped it off and they told me that they steamed it, but because of the nature of the material, the dress had re-wrinkled in the garment bag and that I would have to steam it again right before the ceremony. However, then they decided to charge me anyway for a job that I honestly don't think they actually did. Kind to think of it, I really should have given them 2 stars. I think they may do other alterations well, but I wouldn't recommend getting your wedding dress altered there.
