As far as the cakes went, they were absolutely beautiful as well as fresh and delicious. Everybody was complimenting the cakes! I had no problems with the appearance of the cakes or taste, but working around logistics with the two ladies that run the place was like pulling teeth. Because they scheduled an out-of-town wedding in addition to ours (which was in Abilene, just a few blocks from their bakery) they wanted to drop off our cake at the reception site early in the morning, even though our reception vendor is not open on Saturday mornings and the reception did not begin until 9pm. If my parents had not of known the caretaker at the reception site, we would've had to pay just to have somebody come open up the building to drop off the cake at their convenience...despite the $1,200+ we spent on 2 cakes!! We also expected more people than could actually attend, so we knew before the wedding that we would have a lot of left over cake. However, they acted like it would be sooo difficult for them to bring us an extra cake box or two for leftover tiers of cake!!!! Isn't this their job, and what we paid exorbitant amounts of money for? Luckily our caterers let us use their boxes for the leftovers, but we had to chop up the cake really small to squeeze them in the non-cake boxes.
In the end, I would say their cakes can't be beat, but be prepared to fight some battles to get what you rightfully paid for.
