I really was disappointed with this vendor and could not in good conscience recommend her. The vendor list she supplied to me had listings on there that I told her on the consultation I did not want. They sent me to Running Horse Country Club which never came to be. I also asked for no venues with porta-potties and the list she included had those on there. We had to scramble to get an offciant and we asked to rescheldule our date and she told us she was booked. She did not offer to get us her other officiants or planner for us. We did not get the services we paid for.
We used Forever Weddings and it was a great experience. They were very professional and the first set of vows they sent were not quite what we wanted and I let them know and they sent a new group and we found exactly what we were looking for. The Officiant was on time at our wedding and the service was everything I could hope for, I look forward to watching the video time and time again.
By far, the worst part of my wedding was the ceremony. We paid a lot of money for the biggest package from this vendor. They offered unlimited vows to choose from, a rehearsal, keepsake vows and help with the paperwork.
#1 The vows we were sent seemed to be the same ones I was finding myself on various websites. In the end, we wrote our own by combining several found online.
#2 The rehearsal. The only part of the experience with this vendor that was good. However, the officiant didn't perform the rehearsal, it was his wife.
#3 Having these people file the paperwork for us was a complete waste of time and money. I had no idea how easy this was. All you do is mail in a piece of paper that you need to have signed. I could have easily done this myself. The officiant made a mistake filling out the form and 3 months later, I still don't have a certificate of marriage.
#4 The ceremony could not have been worse. The officiant didn't seem to have ever read my vows before. He also read them like an 8 year old reading in front of the class. He stopped at the end of each line, paused, and began reading again. The sentiment was completely lost. I didn't hear what he was saying because all I could think was, "I hope it's over soon". I've tried very hard to not think about it since the day.
The keepsake vows were just the vows I wrote printed on some fancy paper, likely picked up at the local office supply store.
I could not have been any more displeased with these people. I feel completely ripped off and my wedding ceremony was embarrassing.
