Bella Brides Las Vegas RUINED MY WEDDING DAY!!!

I scheduled with Bella Brides for my wedding day, Saturday May 29th, 2010 for them to do my hair and make-up, as

well as my daughter's hair. This is a $200 package. They were supposed to come at 1:00PM for my 4:00 PM wedding.

They called me to confirm my date and time and the hotel I would be staying at, and they advised me to call when I

got checked into my hotel with the room # so they would know where to come.

I started calling them 2 days before my wedding, when we arrived in Vegas (Thursday). I could not get in touch with

anyone at either phone number they provided and left message after message. No one would return my calls. Finally

at 1:30 saturday (my wedding day) when they still had not shown up, my husband called and got through to someone

who claimed they would get into contact with the stylist to "see what happened" and call him back. They never

called him back. I called a couple more times and was told the same thing. Finally the stylist called me to say

that she was "sorry" but she was at a reception and could not make it. Ummm, hello? It was my freakin' wedding day

- I don't care where she was she should have dropped everything and came right then!!!

So the owner (I think?) called and was surprised the other lady didn't show up but apparently was in Morocco?

According to the stylist that is why she did not know she was supposed to come, the owner left for Morocco and

never told her to come? Anyway the owner apologized profusely and said the stylist would be fired, etc. I demanded

my $50 deposit be refunded and handed them a few choice words.

Fortunately for me, I have some great friends that came into Vegas for my wedding who dropped everything and rushed

to my side to help me with my hair and make-up, so I did look okay in the end. However I was very disappointed with

the way I was treated. I mean this is MY WEDDING DAY, this is supposed to be one of the greatest days of my life

and they ruined it!! I laid in the hotel bed crying on my wedding day when they did not show up. I kept watching

the clock and thinking "where are they?? They should be here any minute" but they never showed up. I couldn't

believe it, I was shocked anyone could do that to someone on their wedding day! No one should have to feel like I

did on their wedding day and I highly recommend you do not book with Bella Brides, it's too much of a crapshoot. If

you want to gamble in Vegas, go to the casinos, don't gamble with your wedding day.

Oh, and it's been 5 days and I still have not been refunded my deposit. Guess I will have to file a complaint with

my credit card company too. Sadly I feel as though they owe me a little more than just an apology and a refund

considering they ruined the biggest day of my life.

If you want your wedding to go smoothly, I suggest getting your hair done somewhere else. Or if you're stupid

enough to book with Bella Brides, make sure you allow yourself time to get your hair done somewhere else when they

don't show up - unfortunately for me I did not anticipate this happening and had no time to go somewhere else.

They did an amazing job - Michelle and another stylist came to our hotel room in Caesars, did hair AND makeup for me and my matron of honor, PLUS hair for two other girls; they did it very quickly and we had a great time with them! It was the best updo I've ever had! Honest service and talented stylists! Great prices.
