These guys were referred to me by a lot of my friends and by my photographer as well. We decided to hire DJ Guy when we checked out their website! We love the presentation and the part where we got a discount for guessing the tunes. The wedding itself was so romantic!! I love how DJ Guy set up lights around the room so the whole room was the same color as my flower arrangements. The music of course was perfect and my DJ Witz was a dream. All of my bridesmaids loved him.

Excellent! We had a british guy- I think his name was John and he did an amazing job!! Very good with the crowd and kept the wedding rolling along!

Do NOT use DJ Guy for your wedding! Our wedding was beautiful and exactly the way we wanted it... except for our DJ. Prior to the wedding, we made 3 CD's of music to be played during dinner and the reception, per the manager Gary we met with. We also used their website to make another list as well. Things were very well laid out. We also purchased a wedding video to be played during dinner. We were instructed to put the pictures we wanted in order, and write down the names of songs we wanted played during the video. We did so... here's what went down the day of.

During our entrance, the DJ called me (the bride) the wrong name while introducing us. He mispronounced my bridesmaids, and the groomsmen's names, even though we had just told him how to say them.

Then came dinner and the video. The video had our last name spelled wrong, and the wrong music played throughout.

After having made the cds with the music we wanted, he proceeded to play only 3 of the songs we wanted played; the rest was from The Lion King. He played the wrong song for the father/daughter dance, the groom/mother dance, and no cake cutting song.

He spent much of his time looking like he had no idea what was going on, not playing music, and leaving our guests wondering what was going on.

Here's the clincher. We called him to complain about a week after the wedding. We wrote emails. We spoke to Witz multiple times, who said he would contact the owner and call us back. He didn't. We made a total of probably 10 calls. Finally, 3 MONTHS later, we called and said we would be lodging a complaint with the BBB. Within an hour, the owner was on the phone. He was rude, sarcastic, and patronizing. He told us we were lying, and that he would see us in court. All we asked was for him to rectify the situation by refunding some of the money we payed for the horrible service. He interrupted, and was basically the most egotistical man I have EVER dealt with. He told us to "calm down" when we weren't doing anything wrong. He told us we were disrespectful for lying... after an hour of listening to him try and negotiate why we were wrong in being unsatisfied, he gave us a partial refund. Of which we had to call twice to remind him to actually refund.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! YOUR WEDDING WILL SUFFER.

You will not meet or know your DJ until the wedding day. Luckily, he was a very nice person and did well for us. When you meet with the owner or manager, don't let him talk you into a slide show if you do not want it. He makes it sound like this is what is supposed to happen at all weddings. We did not choose to have a slide show and he tried to make us feel guilty because THEY chose to do business with us in Riverside and had a long distance to drive.

This DJ promised a lot, spent a lot of time (and made us do a lot of work) building a music library exactly to our taste. Only a few of those songs actually showed up on the wedding day. He arrived sweaty and disheveled, but cleaned up and did a good job with the ceremony music. Then he played our cocktail music at a faster than recorded speed. When he was approached about this, he initially refused to change it until my matron of honor became forceful. The rest of the night I heard about three songs that we'd requested, broken up by cheesy DJ standards and ending with the very rude "Hit the road jack." He also completely bungled our slideshow, playing the wrong music, and insisting that everyone pay attention while he fumbled with the projection screen. Because of the guests we had, the details we added to the night, and our ceremony and love for each other, a lot of people had a great time.
