Gene Bolyard (Stephens City, VA)

Gene travelled to Charlottesville to photgraph our wedding. Even though lighting was not ideal in the historic chapel, the photos were beautiful. He set up shots in various indoor and outdoor locations, and made sure that we had photos of everyone who attended our wedding. He even manged to corral all of our guests into one location to get a overhead group shot that was amazing. Within 2 weeks of our wedding, Gene delivered 3 wedding albums (one for us as well as one for each set of parents). The photos and albums depicted the beauty and joy of the day. I would highly recommend Gene to anyone who wants to have wonderful wedding photos to reminisce with for years to come.

Gene went above and beyond the call of duty with regard to our wedding pictures. Not only did we get great pictures from our wedding, but our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and reception. We received all of our photos in a very nice album and it documented every moment of our special day. We took posed pictures and "action" pictures that captured the moment from our first kiss as a married couple to people having a great time on the dance floor! His rates are more than reasonable and the photos are wonderful. If you are interested in a photographer who will capture the 'life' of your ceremony and not break the bank, I definitely recommend Gene.

Affordability - cheap ($500 for 4 hours)

Quality - horrible (shadows in every picture, blurred/fuzzy photos, bad poses, etc.)
