The Watson-Curtze Mansion is located on historic "Millionaires Row" in downtown Erie, Pa. Built in 1891, this Romanesque home, built of Medina sandstone is heavily ornamented, glowing a soft pink hue in the sunlight. The spectacular interior is a treasure trove of exotic stone mantles and heavily carved woodwork featuring multiple motifs, stained glass windows, and opulent golden Mosaic tiles.The interior is furnished with antique furnishings and art.The mansion itself can accommodate up to 70 for formal dinner seating, and 175 for standing cocktail receptions.The foyer, library, parlor are included along with the 3rd floor ballroom. Guests are always free to enjoy the museum exhibits on the second floor.The manicured grounds provide an excellent stage for an outdoor tented wedding for up to 300. When reserving the grounds access to the carriage house's additional restroom facilities are included.
