Buttercream

Buttercream was great to work with from the beginning. There ended up being a little mix up with the amount of cupcakes we ordered, but they gladly corrected it. Our cake and cupcakes were delicious and got so many compliments.

Buttercream was fantastic to work with. They adapted to all of the design changes that I made, even up to 2 weeks before the wedding. People are still telling me how good my wedding cake was. They were recommended by our reception site and even if they weren't, I think I would have chosen them.

Our cake was falling....They get 1 star because the cake tasted great however when they delivered the cake they set it up incorrectly and within 45 minutes it was leaning in 2 directions and would have completely fallen if our caterer had not stepped in and disassembled the cake. I am so DISAPPOINTED in this vendor.

Although a little on the pricey side, their cake is absolutely delicious. The frosty is not too sweet, the cake is incredibly moist and our mousse filling was fantastic. We ended up choosing a buttercream frosting, marble cake, and rasberry mousse. We can't wait to taste it again on our first anniversary.

Best-tasting wedding cakes we tried, hands-down. You get a free 6" anniversary cake a year after your wedding, also. The only negatives about this place were the choices of colors for frosting (cream, chocolate-brown, or a light light pink) because they don't use any artificial colorings, and the fact that the cake was not what I expected. I gave them a drawing of what I wanted and they totally agreed on it and we added a few other details, such as colored sugar-flowers. The cake ended up having very minimal design/artwork compared to what I wanted, and way less flowers than I expected. They felt they did a wonderful job and were surprised that I didn't like it, and were not really willing to do anything about it.

So, go here if you want AWESOME cake but are not worried about having a very specific design (unless it is one of theirs).

The cake tasted great, but they messed up on the design that we had selected. Then they were quite rude afterward when we brought it to their attention.

These people have the BEST wedding cakes in Minneapolis. I tried several vendors and no one compared to the service and professionalism of Buttercream. Their cakes are not only beautiful, the are delightful to eat.
