Dessert Deli

Our cake was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it, I give it a 5 out of 5 for taste. I was slightly disappointed by the design, after having sent pictures and describing in detail the very simple design I wanted, it just didn't do it for me from an artistic perspective. In retrospect I should have gone with the easy-on-the-pocket design so I could have seen what it would look like up front, or just put some fresh flowers on the cake!

Fabulous bakery to work with! The cake was delicious and Trish the owner was so accomodating and easy to work with. Our cake was beautiful!

You will not find better tasting cake in WNY. It is SO worth every cent. Highly recommend the Neapolitan flavor.

The cake design was fantastic! They hit traffic on the way and the reception had already begun when the cake arrived, but the baker worked quickly and no one really noticed. Many guests said this was the best wedding cake they ever tasted! It was delicious, a golden cake with strawberry cream and buttercream frosting. We highly recommend Dessert Deli in Buffalo, NY.

Dessert Deli had the best tasting cake of the four places we considered. Additionally, the consultation with them was the best -their high level of knowledge made it so fun! Trish helped me design a cake that was totally off the wall and totally un-bride like!

The only reason I gave them 3 stars was because when I saw the cake for the first time the first thing I noticed was how poor the fondant work was. The fondant was all cracked; which means that it was allowed to dry out before it was laid on my cake. From my eye, it looked terrible! I would expect something like that from someone just starting out, not from Dessert Deli! I thought the fondant was so poor, but luckily for us, our guests were more blown away by the look and taste that they didn't notice! (either that or they didn't say so.)

Anyway, like I said, I expected more from Dessert Deli. BUT beyond that I give them 5 stars for responsiveness, professionalism and flexibility. Their cakes taste amazing.
