Circa 1886 is a not just a fine dining restaurant, but a beautiful event venue in downtown Charleston. From anniversaries and family reunions, to weddings, bridal luncheons and rehearsal dinners, our staff is experienced in creating unique, personalized and memorable events. Above the restaurant’s main dining room is Circa 1886’s most popular private event venue, the Tack Room. This bright, beautiful space boasts two original fireplaces and special decorative touches that are uniquely Charleston. The Tack Room can accommodate parties of 40 or fewer guests. The versatile event space can serve as a private dining room or even a small wedding reception venue. The Tack Room is often utilized for business luncheons, meetings and private daytime dining.
