Hiring a planner was honestly a waste of my time and money because I am such an organized person to begin with. But So-Chic offered me day-of coordination and some help before the wedding so that I could have someone set up the reception for me. Honestly, don't do it unless you have a big budget and you won't miss $1500... I could have done just as good of a job organizing by myself since I actually did most of the work and preparation. I was given a very new planner - SHE WAS STILL IN COLLEGE. That really upset me but I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt. She did an okay job. But decided to move to another state just before my wedding. Not helpful at all. I wouldn't really suggest this vendor again. Just do it yourself so you know it's done right.
