I could not have asked for a better officiant then Rebecca! In an age when many people are opting to not have a real officiant, and save money by just having a friend ordained online, I can't tell you how much deeper and more real our ceremony felt. Instead of having the very typical friend or family member quote the princess bride, tell a few bad jokes, and then read the same old boring passages from Letters of Paul to the Corinthians, we had an extremely personal ceremony. Rebecca worked with us on multiple occasions to make the ceremony something that felt right to both of us, incorporated all the important elements of tradition we wanted, and yet was modern, funny, touching, and heartfelt. We had multiple guests come up to us afterwards and compliment Rebecca. One set of guests told us they felt like it renewed their love for each other, sitting through Rebecca's ceremony. Our photographer (who has done tons of weddings) told us that she was "rewarded" for listening to the ceremony, and that she felt true love all around. Many guests told us that they did not expect to cry, but did. Even my mostly deaf aunt said she could hear Rebecca, and it was the most loving ceremony she had ever been to. Rebecca worked hard to make the Ceremony fit not only us as a couple, but the place we had chosen as our venue. Jim Henson studios was originally built by Charlie Chaplin. Our wedding readings included quotes by Charlie Chaplin and Jim Henson. It was meaningful, it was beautiful, and I could honestly not be happier with her work. You will not regret hiring her if you do!
