Description
Built circa 1801, the house is the original residence of the Rixey family. Rich in Civil-War history, with many of the original features, and a custome built ballroom with a 1600 sqft roof top terrace it is a spectacular venue.
Perched on top of a hill, to one side you have Blue Ridge Mountain views and on the other our winding drive and beautiful lake.
The house has four bedrooms with four en-suite bathrooms (all with freestanding soaking tubs). We are in the process of building a custom 1500 sq ft Ballroom with 6 crystal chandeliers to hold wedding receptions. On top of the Ballroom is our 1800 sq ft rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Mountains.
