Full Service Receptions from 30 to 300 guests.
Chartered in 1982, the Governors Club is located in the beautifully refurbished building that many Tallahasseans remember as the Odd Fellows Lodge.
One block from the State Capitol, in the historic heart of Old Tallahassee, the Club provides fine and casual dining with superb service and warm Southern hospitality to Members and their guests. Membership is statewide, with the political, professional, business and university communities well represented.
The original Odd Fellows Lodge was built in 1926 and consisted of two floors, with the ground floor used for retail shops. During the construction of the Main Club in 1982 an elegant third floor with several private meeting rooms was added, and in 1992 two of the retail shops were combined to form the Governors Club Grille. In late 1996 a beautiful covered balcony was added, providing an additional 1,800 square feet overlooking Adams Street and College Avenue.
Our award winning Executive Chef Norman Frei and his Culinary Team prepare classic dishes, gulf coast favorites and regional cuisine to suit any taste. Our Members know that our staff gladly honors any special request or dietary needs. In addition to our regular dining rooms and balcony seating, we have a wide variety of private rooms. In 2006, we opened the Governors Club Lounge. The Lounge has been a popular addition to the Club that has proven to be an attractive venue for ‘after hours’ meetings and get togethers. Unlike other popular downtown establishments, The Lounge affords Members a certain amount of privacy, as it is available to Members or guests only.
