The final product looked good, but Bailey's set the tent up 2 days later then we had agreed upon which resulted in us not being able to do our rehearsal in the tent (it rained, so we needed the tent for rehearsal). This caused the table set up to be incorrectly on the day of the wedding because the tables were not set up when we rehearsed. I called when we arrived at the venue on Friday and there was no tent set up and Bailey's told me that they would be there by 11am. They were no there until 12pm. Then when they finally arrived they told us everything would be set up by 2pm so that we could do the rehearsal at 4pm. Well, apparently the owner who assured us that it would be done by 4 never told his set up crew. At 4pm the tent wasn't even done being set up. No tables where set up, no chairs were set up.... It was a mess, and when we asked them about what happened they basically told us too bad. They crew and owner kept trying to lie to husband, which was pointless on their part because he worked for a rental company and set tents up for years. They had clearly rented our tent out from under us earlier in the week to make more money. It had rained all week, so I am sure that, in typical SoMD fashion, they could not resist the idea of making an extra buck even if it meant screwing over someone who had taken the time to reserve the tent a year in advance. I would not recommend them to anyone. As a side note: We found out after the fact that Bailey’s had booked 5+ weddings for the same day (which is probably why it was such a mess and speaks to the poor quality of service- they had over extended themselves). They subcontracted out our table settings and chair covers so I can’t really speak for the quality of Bailey’s rentals in that area because ours came from Tracey’s Design.
Overall, this was just a headache that I did not want to deal with on the day before and day of my wedding. It caused a lot of confusion and chaos. I was more of a DIY bride, so we had arranged all the flowers, etc. Not having the tables set up meant that we were running around trying to figure out what we were going to do with 20+ centerpieces until the tables were set up.
**Please note that this review is ONLY for their rental company. We also used their catering services and they were GREAT! Everyone raved about the food and the servers were wonderful.**
