The Cooks' House

This restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in the area, but they did a terrible job catering our wedding. Granted we asked them to make Indian food, but since one of the head chefs had experience cooking Indian food I didn't think this would be so far out of their comfort zone. We had gone over the menu several times before the wedding, and my approach was to suggest dishes but let them take the reins on recipes and preparation. By the time of the wedding, the food was awful and bore little resemblance to actual Indian food. They put kidney beans in the lamb dish, making it resemble some sort of chili. Other dishes were either oversalted or flavorless. The food was the most expensive part of our wedding, so this was very disappointing.
