Highly recommend the Sultans, they do a mix of current and older music and everyone was dancing.

Worst experience with a vendor

1) The band was late - and then had the temerity to try to charge extra for time during which they did not even play (I'm not sure that we even got 4 hours of play time given the length of the band breaks)

2. Band members violated Sultans of Swing policy - I personally saw the female lead and saxophonist smoking and drinking outside the club - I am sure there were others that Meghan saw and I did not.

3. Your female lead insulted my dad. She read the intro to the first dance that he wrote (see below) and then bragged to the crowd that it was her first time singing it - I don't care about the back-story - it was wrong and she owes my father a heartfelt apology

INTRO: The movie Fiddler on the Roof and its lyrics are one of the XXX family favorites, with many of the themes resonating with their own Indian and Immigrant roots. Bxxx, who is generally not the emotional type, would sing Sunrise Sunset to Nxxx ever since she was a little kid and it would be a family sing-along on many a long ride. So, this was the song chosen decades before today's function... and we are delighted to play it for the bride and father-of-the-bride.

4. The band ignored the simple music guidelines outlined by the bride and groom. The "Definitely" list was not honored and the "Do Not Play" was tapped too many times.

We had 30 vendors come to the island for a two day Indian and Catholic wedding. We had vendors coming from as far as NYC and they managed to make it to our wedding on time.

sultans are amazing. we had erika van pelt on her first show back after her tour. Our male vocalist was Elan (he didn't seem to know some songs, and kinda screwed up our first dance). other than that they were great and kept the party going all night.
