I can honestly say thanks to Sally and her wonderful team, me and my husband literally had the best wedding we could have possibly hoped for. There is no way I could have planned our wedding in the stunning Lake Orta without all her knowledge and help, especially with the language barrier and the more 'relaxed' approach from the Italian suppliers.

We had never heard of Lake Orta and it was Sally who suggested it based on the type of day we were looking for. It is the most beautiful, authentic Italian town, and would never have discovered it without her. The wedding and reception venues she helped us choose were gorgeous and our 30 guests all said it was one of the best weddings they had been to.

Sally was so patient and answered anything and EVERYTHING that ran through my mind. How she copes with so many emails, I do not know!

The day ran so smoothly and I felt so relaxed. Would recommend her and WeddingBox to anyone looking to marry in Italy.

We decided in January 2012 that we wanted to get married abroad. We'd been to many places in Italy, and love everything about the country. The lake region was somewhere we'd not tried so thought it maybe an option for somewhere to marry. After 2 months of research with numerous wedding planners it was starting to become stressful (and we hadn't even booked anything)! One evening I came across Weddingbox. Everything started to become easier and Sally at Weddingbox was extremely quick & concise in her responses. We met up with Sally in March 2012 and she met us at our hotel and took us to all the venues we'd picked out as ones we wanted to visit. This was 200 euros (and well worth doing) we got the money back as we decided to book with her. For us, booking through weddingbox was the best choice we made. Sally is English but lives in Lake Como. We had previously found that many of the Italian suppliers wouldn't respond for a week or sometimes even longer - they're just so laid back - very nice, if you're not trying to plan a wedding!!! I'm extremely organised myself so waiting for responses when you're trying to organise such a big event and needing to know costs is too much for me! That's why Weddingbox was perfect for us! If i could speak Italian and understood the legalities of getting married in Italy i may have attempted to plan it myself. however, i don't speak the lingo & didnt know what paperwork was required or when.... Sally did! She was prompt in her responses and keeping us informed with bookings. She understood our requirements and had a good base of suppliers who we really couldn't fault. Sally helped us with the majority of aspects of planning. I think that over the course of a year we exchanged over 1000 emails with Sally- if it was a problem, she never let on!! She has a great sense of humour and nothing is a problem.

We married in May this year( the first wedding of the year!) we met Gemma who joined Weddingbox in Spring. Whilst we didn't communicate as much with Gemma we met her the day before the wedding and she did a fantastic job on the day- they both did. If you're thinking of getting married in Lake Como and stuck for a wedding planner I 100% recommend Weddingbox.

Sally and Gemma of Weddingbox Lake Como are a fantastic wedding planning duo! We have been e-mailing Sally since we decided to get married in Lake Como back in April 2012. She managed to keep me calm in times of panic, ensured we had no stress and took care of everything, suppliers, venues, hotels and organised the day to the minute.

Gemma joined Sally this year and we were welcomed by her when we met in it Italy before our wedding, Gemma made us feel comfortable, put us at ease and was friendly and professional. She is a great addition to the Weddingbox team.

If I could hire Sally at WeddingBox to plan my entire life, I would...she is the most patient, positive, talented, creative, hands-on, understanding wedding coordinator and I am so grateful that I found her! I went to Sally last year thinking I would plan my wedding myself from New York City - but had run into some snags and just needed some help finding a couple of vendors like a DJ and florist (which can be tough on the lake - a lot of vendors don't have websites, there's a language barrier, the companies take weeks to respond to emails, etc). Sally was on it immediately - I was taken aback by her quick response time and the way she laid everything out for me so all I had to do was choose what I wanted. She made things that had taken me weeks of unfruitful work so incredibly easy that I kept asking her for more and more help...and my fiance was so impressed that my wedding planning stress had disappeared that he convinced me to hire her to plan the whole thing. It was the best decision I could have possibly have made...not only did she make my day absolutely perfect, but she patiently took on my entire wedding weekend as well (from details like a specific single flower tied to the chairs for the ceremony to big things like renting a giant bus for our guests to take from the hotel to a dock in a different town, and coordinating 50 people to get onto 7 self-drive boats there). We have probably had 1,000-plus emails over the year of my wedding planning...I'd email her in the middle of the night panicked about some little detail, I'd write long emails just purging every little thing I wanted to go over (or re-go over), and she was always right there, calmly, patiently, and quickly responding to each and every one and handling every little thing I came up with. If you're looking for a personal approach to your wedding and a planner who will jump at the chance to help you find something out-of-the-ordinary (I wanted a 'just married' sign in Italian for the back of a Vespa for pictures, wish lanterns to be released after dancing, etc) - this is your person. I truly could write a book on how much she did for my wedding weekend.

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do without her now that my wedding is over!
