I worked with Christina Malone. She was great! I was a typical DIY bride and did not need to utilize her pre-wedding services, but she was very helpful in letting me know what she could help me with. Knowing that her services were an option, put me at ease. I was on the fence about utilizing a DOC, but saw an offer the Knot. This was THE BEST decision I could have made. Being same sex wedding and one that was less traditional than "normal" meant no bridesmaids or other assistance from family. It was a dream to be able to hand over my boxes of reception materials and know that she would make everything perfect. We planned for an outdoor wedding with reception indoors. The on/off rain and wedding day stress made me incapable of making a decision re a back up rain plan. she was extremely calm and although the reception tables were already set up, she galvanized the venue and wait staff to quickly move the tables, set up a ceremony site and begin the service--almost exactly on time. We also were incredibly smart to hire her for the take down. While my new wife and I were bustin' our new couple's moves during the reception, she was boxing up the bits that were not needed so that when it was time to leave, all our votives and signs, etc. came with us. I have nothing but praise for Christina at Prestigious Planners.
