Wendell Ferguson of United Sounds

I do not recommend Wendell Ferguson to anyone! He promised he would be the one to DJ our wedding, but sent a replacement. He periodically popped in, but admitted he'd "booked a gig down the road" and had to go back and forth. The replacement DJ did not know our playlists. We had to stand on the dancefloor and wait for him to download songs we'd agreed upon months before. Wendell mispronounced the names of several people in the wedding party. He skipped right over my dad's speech and didn't allow him to ever give it. We had to remind them to play the music we requested. Worst of all, he charged us for more hours than we needed, and promised a refund. For over 6 months now, he's been dodging our phone calls, emails, and refusing to acknowledge us when we show up at his office. Extremely unprofessional. Filed a complaint with the BBB and looking to take him to court if we can't get him to uphold a single part of his contract with us. He is a con artist, beware! He's charismatic and likeable, but you will not get what you are paying for (or overpaying for)

He was great with all the details, until the day of the wedding. He was late on some of the music cues during the ceremony, hasn't gotten back to us about our refund for not having karaoke (electrical issues), but most importantly he didn't play a lot of what we asked for, and did play something we had on our "do not play" list. High expectations, only mostly ok/good outcome.
