Syd Gaddy/Dale

I was told the DJ would call me about 1 week prior to the wedding. That day came and went with no call. So 5 days before the wedding I called the number I had been given for the DJ (Syd Gaddy). I left a message and got a call back saying another DJ (Dale) would be doing my event and was given that number to call instead. I called him and left a message. I got no response for 3 days. At the rehearsal the day before the wedding I told my wedding coordinator that I had not heard from the DJ after leaving 2 messages and was concerned because one of my songs was unusual and might be difficult to find. I sent HER the spreadsheet I had created with my music. She forwarded it to the DJ, but I still did not hear from him right away. I called the wedding coordinator again the morning of my wedding and said I still hadn't heard from the DJ. I finally got a call from the DJ about 5 hours before the wedding, but he said he was on the road and would have to look up my unusual piece of music once he finally got home and see if he could find it. I met him at the wedding site right before the ceremony when he told me he couldn't find the song I chose for my father/daughter dance. I wasn't strongly attached to the song for that dance, but I was extremely annoyed by the lack of attention my wedding was given from this DJ. If that song had strong meaning for my father and I would have gone ballistic that he didn't have the time to find it through his own damn fault. Dale was a sufficient enough DJ for the event, but I couldn't get over the bad taste in my mouth from being ignored and having a potentially devastating flaw occur.
