This venue is built like a traditional fishing village on the edge of a cliff, with a little village square, gorgeous streets with rustic details and even an amphitheatre.
Emilio, the manager, was fantastic to work with and nothing was too much trouble. We were organising the wedding from Canada, and he was very understanding of how most of the decisions had to be made in the week before the wedding, even letting us do the tasting three days before the event. The tasting was fabulous and the cocktails and food we eventually chose were a huge hit with our guests. Half of our guests were Spanish and they couldn't speak highly enough of the food, it was very high quality.
On the day, the venue looked beautiful and the waiters were very attentive, even bringing my husband and I drinks and food while we were having our pictures taken - a little detail which went a long way.
The view from the dining room overlooks the sea and mountains and is beautiful at sunset. We had asked for a special Canadian cocktail at the open bar and although the staff couldn't source it, they put mojitos on instead, which everybody loved. We also used the amphitheatre to cut our cake, have our toasts and then gave everybody sparklers to light, which was an amazing experience.
Our wedding at Pueblo Acantilado was truly magical. The only downside for us is that our camera went missing through the meal. Other than that, we could not have asked for more.
