I have always loved weddings!
I began working in a Hotel in Cartagena, there I learn how to make the dreams come true and focused on building my carrear.
I woke up one day and realized it was time to follor my heart, Mary Cueter bodas y Eventos was born.
My goal is to help brides and grooms create the weddings of their dreams .
I think of myself as a knowledgeable mentor, providing help with whatever is needed.
I am committed to making your wedding a unique, fabulous event that is so seamlessly executed it will feel like a dream.

Mary Cueter, and Rosa (her assistant), helped us to have a wedding that was better than we could have imagined!!! I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful and kind women. My husband and I live in California and we wanted to elope in Cartagena. We wanted something very simple and inexpensive. We worked with a woman in Bogota who said all of our paperwork was approved with the notaria and that we would be married at 4.30pm on the afternoon of February 21st. We were scheduled to fly to Colombia on 2/16. The day before our trip she emailed to tell us that Americans could no longer marry in Colombia and that there was nothing she could do about it and our wedding was canceled! It was horrible and I was extremely upset. I emailed Richard who runs the Casa Amarilla guesthouse in Mompos (I had been coordinating travel there with him and he had been so helpful and friendly) to ask him if this sounded crazy to him. I didn't know another person in Colombia so he was my only hope. Very luckily he put me in touch with Mary. She took our call right away and agreed to meet us the first day we were in Cartagena even though she was busy organizing a wedding that day! That was on a Friday. By Monday we had an appointment to meet with a new notaria who said there had been no law change and our paperwork looked perfect. Rosa helped find the perfect location, have the most beautiful flowers, and organized a photographer and videographer all for a very reasonable price. She was amazing and I will always be so thankful to them for saving our wedding!
Mary is a great wedding planner. She has a lot of connections in Cartagena and she will go above and beyond to make everything perfect on your wedding day. She is very professional, has great taste and will always give you her honest opinion to make sure that things come out great. She is amazing!
Just to give you an example of her level of commitment, one of my guests lost the keys of the apartment she was renting while staying in Cartagena. Mary found a locksmith at 2:00am to make sure that we were able to resolve this issue for my guest.
