The New Museum’s iconic building, located on the Bowery at the intersection of SoHo and the Lower East Side, offers a variety of event spaces for corporate and individual Members to entertain in the setting of a cutting-edge contemporary art museum. Our architects, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of the Tokyo-based firm SANAA, were the 2010 Laureates of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. The Sky Room, our premier space, provides stunning, panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.

Couples can marry in any of our three event spaces: the Sky Room, theater, or lobby. The Sky Room is a perfect space to host an intimate wedding, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner. The floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound terrace provide a dramatic setting for a ceremony or celebration.
