Although the cake tasted good the service was horrible. Before moving to Lafayette Mammaw's was located in Brookston. Our first meeting went well and we wrote them a check on the spot to hold our date. From the time they moved to Lafayette service went down hill, emails were not returned and either were phone calls. Although our cake looked nice it was not the design that I asked for and that we had spoken about and when we returned our "rented" cake we were denied our deposit back, which by the way we were not told about until after the wedding. We were told that $100 down would be applied to the cake order to hold our date, Not a deposit. So be careful with Mammaw's, their cakes are good but service is bad and you never know what you are going to get in regards to the design.
