Papa Joes

We got our cake through Papa Joes after numerous recommendations. We sat down with Chef Ken and were informed that they only do 1 cake a day and that it is made the day of your wedding, and that they will be there 2 hours before the start of your reception. Well imagine my surprise when I get to my wedding and the cake isn't even there, after numerous calls from my bridesmaids they finally rushed my cake over 1 1/2 hours into my reception. It was crooked, and the decorations were awful. They only good thing was that my cake tasted great. When i went in and spoke with papa joes they took 3 weeks to finally get back to me after numerous phone calls, and said that they would give me another cake for free for a bithday or something. I'm sorry but when i paid $1,500 for my wedding cake and they can't even get it their on time let alone make it look like they didn't slap it together in a rush i expect a little more. Before all of this we got all of our cakes through papa joes as well as our groceries, they have lost a good customer. If you want things to run smoothly I would not use Papa Joes.
