What was once the location of a Lerner’s department store, became Il Pasticcio in 1993 when owner Pino Venetico opened the doors. Tile floors with marble and brass accoutrements enhance the feeling that one has stepped into a sophisticated, distinct, and architecturally rich venue. Floor to ceiling windows allow guests full views of bustling Bull and Broughton streets.

Situated on a busy corner in the heart of Savannah’s downtown shopping district, Il Pasticcio Restaurant and Wine Bar has been wowing locals and travelers alike for over a decade. A regular favorite among local readers’ polls, Il Pasticcio received national attention after it was named “one of the country’s ten best italian restaurants” by USA Today. Additionally, Southern Living magazine calls the restaurant “one of the south’s best food finds.” Il Pasticcio makes a regular annual appearance in Wine Spectator magazine for its 300+ bottle list and offering of numerous selections from Italy and California, as well as South America, Spain, Australia, France, and New Zealand. Il Pasticcio also has one of the largest “Wines by the Glass” list in Savannah.

Il Pasticcio also offers full-service on and off-site catering as well as customized event planning for events held in our venue. Il Pasticcio has a number of spaces suitable for a wide variety of events: rehearsal dinners, bachelor/bachelorette parties, wedding receptions, client appreciation dinners, cocktail parties, wedding/bridal showers, graduation parties, product launch meetings, corporate gatherings, pharmaceutical dinners, presentations, employee appreciation events, university meetings, self-promotion meetings, and other social events.

Our event spaces range from our Private Wine Cellar to larger cocktail reception areas. All spaces are suitable for sit-down dinners, banquet style events, cocktail parties, or formal presentations. We can customize spaces per specific requests to ensure a positive experience for you and your guests. Our event spaces can easily accommodate small parties and larger parties with up to 500 guests.
