John Ly Photography

It's been almost 6 YEARS and this man has not produced an album after numerous attempts reach him via text, email, phone, or in person. I arrived at his house and he wouldn't come to the door but mysteriously called me after I left (first phone call in 8 months) stating "he was out of the country" and would be working on my album that weekend, of course he never called or produced any such thing.

What a true disappointment, he has the talent but cannot produce the work he promised. I could have saved over $1200 w/ another photographer for comparable pictures. I will be seeking legal action.

DO NOT USE THIS MAN, HE WILL SHOW YOU ALL HIS WORK AND YOU WILL BE WOWED, BUT THERE'S NO POINT IF YOU NEVER GET TO SEE THE PICTURES FROM THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.

After reviewing his work on wedding photography, I chose him to take my bridal photos and soon discovered a whole new level of dishonesty. When John and I initially spoke, he made promises that the photos would turn out great and that he has a flexible schedule. When I called him for an appointment time for the bridal shoot, he would say "he can't this and he can't that," meaning you would have to work around his schedule only. The day of the shoot was unprofessional. He rushed it in telling us that he have to return home to babysit his baby so the nanny could leave. After viewing the photos, he DID NOT do any editing and when mentioned, he says he doesn't do editing but for an additional cost he would. He was rude, unprofessional, didn't care what you think about the photos, and unwilling to satisfy the PAYING customer. I asked to meet with him at his office after reviewing the unsatisfying photos, after a confirmation of time and date; he didn't show up but instead gave the dirty duty to his assistant. I would NEVER recommend anybody to use him. For your money worth, he's not the one!!!

Absolutely top notch and captures every moment wonderfully. Definitely use him!
