Micon Company is owned by Sharen Nakashima, a bilingual voice talent & event emcee in Honolulu. Sharen speaks fluent Japanese and has emceed, interpreted or assisted over 100 weddings since 1999. Sharen's background in radio broadcasting & as an event emcee helps to enhance your once-in-a-lifetime wedding day.
She works with couples to customize their wedding reception programs to ensure a smooth & successful event.She also works with local wedding coordinators to assist larger wedding receptions. Sharen is also available as a "day of coordinator" and will step in to tie all elements together & support the overall flow of your wedding events (both ceremony & reception)in Honolulu & Oahu.

Sharen was the best part of planning our wedding. Without Sharen, our wedding would not have been so successful. From the beginning, she paid a close attention to our planning and she was always there to answer our questions and listen to our concerns. We were completely relaxed on the day of our wedding because we knew she was there with us. We also received a lot of compliments from our guests how smoothly our reception went and how completely bilingual our reception was. We cannot thank Sharen enough for what she did for our wedding and beyond.
Sharen was a godsend!! We originally contracted her to be our English-Japanese interpreter during the reception, but she stepped in as our day-of coordinator because we didn't have one and really did need one. She made everything run so smoothly and I don't know what we would have done without her. I would recommend her HIGHLY to anyone needing any sort of coordinator, emcee, or Japanese interpreter.
