Mike, who also subcontracts with a DJ-service, is a nice guy but did not perform to my expectations or to his stated ability. Recessional music was started late, songs specifically asked for were not played at the reception, he refused to play a song even though it was on my Must Play list, and he initiated group dances despite my having told him in our pre-wedding meetings that I hated that. He was also rude to my wedding planner and felt the need to complain about "not knowing what was going on" right before I was about to walk down the aisle. So not impressed...
